To begin the basic build of the hop up housing is significantly better than the stock housing. It holds the bucking and inner barrel really really really tightly (use some silicon grease on the outside of the bucking to fit in) so there is no worry of any movement. There is a slot that insures the bucking is held in place as long as it has a side tab. Everything is just sized perfectly to ensure proper fitment, has the ability to use aftermarket nubs and keeps everything secure where it needs to be. Maintenance will also be much easier over the stock housing, myself I took the stock one apart after every game to clean the bucking and barrel and it was showing signs of wear and breaking down with the plastic body and screws. No worry with this housing.
