The Action Army Custom Outer Barrel is designed to be used on the AAC 21 and KJW M700 Airsoft Sniper Rifles. The fluted barrel design gives the gun a more unique and streamline finish. The external coating offers protection to the outer barrel from heavy scratches as well as rust. Being constructed out of aluminum, the overall weight is lighter but stronger. The front of the barrel contains a 14mm counter clock wise thread for mounting barrel extensions for those that choose to run a longer inner barrel. This custom outer is specifically designed for the AAC 21/ KJW M700 and may work with other airsoft guns but cannot be guaranteed.

Great kjw m700 mod!

This is an awesome kit for the m700. This saves you from having a 5+ foot gun if you want a silencer on your kjw m700. I have two kjw m700p rifles each with an AA outer barrel, one in silver, and one in black. Both are great quality and have a nice finish. The black is a rough matte finish, and the silver is a polished silver. Each should be considered for different reasons. If you are a skirmish player you will definitely want the black barrel, as the silver one is very shiny and can create glaring reflections that can give away your position. That being said if you are building a target/show piece, the silver looks fantastic. A barrel spacer is included that helps reduce inner barrel movement, which is very nice. The reason why these kits are 4 stars and not perfect is the fact that the stock will need to be permanently modified to fit this barrel. Despite being extremely easy to do with the right tools, once you widen the top of the stock to fit this barrel you can't go back to the original barrel without unsightly gaps. Also, the forward barrel anchor that is included does not work with the kj stock. It is too short and you must use the original. All in all i love it, but not absolutely perfect.
